Are you one of those people who find it difficult to get going in the morning? Then this article is sure to help you get better at getting up. Stay tuned and let help make it easier to get up.

Tip 1: enough light

Certain lighting conditions help you to wake up. You don't have to flood the entire house or apartment with light. It is sufficient to switch on a couple of suitable lamps and let them illuminate you. So-called sunlight lamps even simulate sunlight, which makes it easier for those who don't like the morning and those who have to work early shifts to wake up.

In general, there should be sufficient light at the workplace. Because only with the right lighting does the brain get enough signals to wake up and stay awake. Certain colours can also help trigger the right signals in the brain. For example, the blue tones of the monitors on the PC, the television, the laptop, the tablet or the smartphone.

The best light to wake up well in the morning is and remains light from the sun. It is strong and provides our body with sufficient vitamin D. If you are tired, it is sufficient to go into the sun for a few minutes and soak up some sunlight. How about a walk in the fresh air or a little morning exercise in the garden or on the balcony?

Tip 2: morning exercise

Even if it's quite dark, the best idea to start the day with exercise is in the morning. This helps to get the circulation going, more oxygen gets into the body, which is pumped through the veins faster through sport, blood pressure is lowered, the brain and all other organs are cranked and you start in a good mood in the Day.

Sport releases happiness hormones stimulates digestion and if you don't overdo it and push yourself to the limit, then the sport will give you new strength.

It is important that you choose a simple sport that suits you and also suits your own fitness level. After all, a beginner cannot do as much as someone who has been jogging every day for 10 years.

Depending on whether and how much excess weight you are carrying, the sport should be chosen that is gentle on the joints. For people who are slight to severely overweight, simple sports such as swimming, walking, cycling or light gymnastics are particularly suitable.

Tip 3: drink

In order to get going in the morning, it is always good to supply the body with sufficient fluids. Half a litre of water or a caffeinated drink such as an energy drink or coffee can be sufficient. However, one should be careful with the caffeine-containing drinks, because these can make the body dependent so that if you consume too much, you can only wake up with these caffeine drinks.

Above all, however, refreshing flavours such as lemon or mint are a good way to activate the taste receptors. Other exciting and healthy alternatives would be water with cucumber, orange, basil, strawberries, apple or lemongrass.

Tip 4: take a shower

Showering is a good thing to really wake up to. Above all, alternating showers (i.e. a shower in which the cold and hot water is changed every minute) get the body going. A warmer or colder shower can also help to wake up the body - but it should not be too cold or too hot, as both go on the circulation.

Stimulating scents can also bring the body out of sleep mode. For example mint, citrus fruits or vanilla. The same applies to the creams that you put on your face, feet, hands and the rest of your body. The perfume is also a beautiful fragrance that can have a stimulating effect.

Alternatively, if you don't like showering in the morning and don't like using creams and perfumes, you can use a room freshener or a scented candle to put yourself in the right mood. For work, it is always appropriate to use the same scent so that the brain adjusts to the corresponding work.

Tip 5: good food

There are dishes that are refreshing and good sources of energy. These include complex carbohydrates, like a dark grainy bread, whole-grain pancake, or decent granola. Nuts and fruits (if possible sugar-free) are also a good addition to the meal. The combination of proteins and carbohydrates, in particular, is very good for staying full for a long time and for having plenty of energy for the day.

However, you should not eat too much or too heavy so that you start the day with energy and not get tired again.

Tip 6: favourite music

In order to get out of bed well in the morning, it is advisable not to be ripped out of bed by an annoying noise such as a loud alarm clock, but to start the day pleasantly with the current favourite song. Since many people now like to be woken up by their smartphone, there are many ways to transfer music to their cell phone cheaply or free of charge and choose their favourite song as the alarm tone.

Even when you get up, brush your teeth, shower or prepare breakfast, it is much easier to start the day when you listen to pleasant music. Pleasant applies here to everything that puts the respective person in a good mood and likes them. It doesn't matter whether it's Rammstein, the Ramones, the Wildecker Herzbuben or Britney Spears. It is only important that the music helps you to wake up and brings you in a good mood.

Tip 7: stretching, stretching and yoga

Sometimes the body gets going better if you first stretch and stretch your entire body when you get up. The muscles slowly come out of sleep mode and every now and then cracking the bones is also good for waking up.

Yoga, in particular, is a gentle but effective method of stretching the body sufficiently, increasing flexibility and waking up properly.
